Core Training (Adults, Youth, and Older Adults)

Four core training modules review the main principles and practices of the screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment model.

Motivational Interviewing (Adults, Youth, and Older Adults)

Brief intervention is based on motivational interviewing principles. These three training modules introduce learners to key concepts and ideas that are central to using the brief intervention.

This supplemental training module addresses some of the issues that older adults tend to have related to substance use, including the impact of higher rates of co-existing medical problems.
